FIRM

Define the assignment before the work begins.

An effective engagement has a purpose, an owner and an agreed result. FAFA's working process separates initial understanding, formal acceptance, delivery and review. You know what information is needed, where decisions sit and how a change in scope will be handled.

Discover and assess

We discuss the organisation, reporting period, current systems and intended use of the work. A limited sample may help establish the condition of the records. Relevant acceptance checks and any professional requirements are considered before a proposal is issued. Please identify hard deadlines and external recipient instructions early.

Agree and organise

The written scope identifies deliverables, exclusions, fees, dependencies and authorised contacts. We agree a document-transfer method and a request list that is appropriate to the assignment. Work is sequenced around information availability and review points. Additional entities, historical periods or software modules are not silently absorbed into an unchanged brief.

Review and conclude

Draft outputs are reviewed through the agreed process. Management decisions and necessary approvals are recorded before final delivery. The completion note explains outstanding limitations, the handover and any recurring responsibilities. Ongoing work can move to a defined reporting calendar; a one-off assignment closes with its agreed outputs and retained records.
