VERIFICATION

Check the recorded issue details of a FAFA document.

Use the reference or verification link printed on your document to consult the issue register. Compare the displayed report type, period, version and status with the copy you hold. A match identifies the recorded issue details; it is not an independent opinion on the underlying financial information.

Check a report

Compare before relying

Check that you are on fafaandca.com and that the reference relates to the document in front of you. Review the issue date, version and status. Only metadata approved for public disclosure is displayed. Access to a verification result does not grant access to confidential reports or client records.

Understand the status

Issued means the record is currently shown as issued in the register. Superseded means a later version has replaced that issue. Withdrawn means the document is no longer a current issued report. A not-found result may reflect an incorrect reference or a document requiring further enquiry; it is not by itself a fraud determination.

Ask about a discrepancy

Stop and contact the firm when details differ or a status is unclear. Include the reference and a description of the difference. Do not assume that a QR code proves authenticity on its own. Any applicable professional identifier, including an ICAP UDIN, is separate from the website's own reference.

Common questions

Does a matching record mean the report is audited?

No. The type of work and any assurance conclusion are stated in the report and accompanying engagement documentation.
