ACCOUNTS
Make every recorded transaction easier to explain.
Useful accounts depend on consistent source records. FAFA's bookkeeping service organises sales, purchases, receipts and payments within an agreed process. We help connect entries to the documents and explanations needed for later reconciliation, reporting and review.
Agree the capture method
We establish how records will be supplied, which business activities are in scope and who answers questions. The process may use an existing accounting system, structured spreadsheets or a controlled document collection. Clear descriptions and consistent classifications make the records easier to follow across periods and across the people handling them.
Resolve uncertainty at the source
Unidentified payments, repeated invoices and missing receipts belong on a visible exception list. We ask the authorised contact to clarify the transaction rather than assuming a business purpose or inventing documentation. Your management retains responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the information and for approving any necessary corrections.
Prepare for the next review
The handover identifies the period processed, outstanding queries and any records awaiting confirmation. Where the engagement includes reconciliation or reporting, the bookkeeping work feeds that next stage. A recurring schedule helps avoid a large year-end backlog, but the update frequency and response expectations are agreed rather than presumed.
Common questions
Can we begin with mixed paper and digital records?
Yes, subject to readability and an initial assessment. We will agree an orderly collection method before transferring a full archive.
